I am in the process of ending a 3 year relationship. So I have lots of things, pictures, ticket stubs, jewelry that was given to me.
I don’t know if I should keep these things or not. I’ve heard to clear out the old and make may for the new, but I can’t bare to throw these things away.
What is the protocol here?

Did you regret that you didn’t do anything about it?

Ok, lets say you and your significant other just broke up. Now let’s say you feel you want to try to make up with him/her. How come I love yous, flowers, or anything romantic doesn’t work when they are mad at you? Let’s go a step farther, why does ignoring them bring them closer to you?

Which songs do you think suit the situation where you’ve dumped somebody who loves you a lot but you don’t find him/her interesting? and if you hadn’t even been going out for a long time anyway.

I fell in love with a girl the past eight months. Yesterday she dumped me. I have been hurt before but this really has me down. I won’t commit suicide, I just feel the world would be better if I was not here. I feel God has abandoned me not just the girl. What should I do to get over a losing someone you loved?

My boyfriend and I just broke up because I found out that he was cheating and I need some cheerful music. I’m tired of listening to sad music. He’s wasted almost five years of my life and I don’t want to give him another second.

We’re never 100% happy with who we’re with, but is it reasonable to give it all up just to maybe find someone who’s better?
Sometimes the grass seems greener on the other side. That is, there are always people we wish we could be getting with instead.
Should we be listening to that curious side and breakup to keep exploring? Or should we stop being so greedy and selfish and just be happy with who you have?

My spouse and I are separating, not my choice. I don’t want to paint them in a bad light so part of me is OK with the cliche’d “Mommy and Daddy have decided…”, but then part of me wants my kids to know that I am not abandoning them and that it’s not my decision not to live with them anymore. Anyone have experience or opinion?

I tried everything it seems like. I really like this girl and want to comfort her because I hate to see her sad. It sucks. Please help me.

Or do you ever get over them? Also, does anyone have any ideas on how to get over it?

I am 18 and it was my second serious relationship. I’m really struggling. I am on anti-depressants and i am getting counselling. He really messed me up. He ended it badly. Really hurt me alot. He meant everything to me.

We broke up last night, but it was in the works for a week or so…I was broken up with, but I was very comfortable with the reasons and would prefer to be friends…I am currently on vacation with the ex trying to work things out as friends…For some reason it feels easier because there is less pressure and I don’t feel as upset about the break up – is this wrong?
