Breakup With Girlfriend After 4 Months?
Me and my girlfriend have been going out for 4 months, and I just can’t see us continuing. I don’t know why, but I just don’t like her like I used to. How do I do it nicely? I don’t want her to absolutely hate me, but if it’s the only way, I’ll have to do it…I don’t want to continue a relationship that goes nowhere. She keeps texting her friend about me. Her friend told me my girlfriend was crying and stuff because she thinks she ruined it, but it’s the opposite. I haven’t been answering most of her texts just to giver her some signs. So, how do I do it? I don’t like tears, but If I have to, I have to. I just think we’d be better off. By the way, I’m 14 and she’s 13.

Puppy love is going to hurt no matter how nice you break it to someone. If you feel you don’t like her anymore, then just break up like you said. No point in staying in a relationship when the feelings aren’t there anymore. She’ll cry no matter what you say or do, but when you tell her it’s over, do it as gently as possible and privately in person. Do not break up with her over the phone or on the internet. Be a gentlemen. Don’t worry, she’ll be okay and so will you.
Just tell her that you want a break for at least three months, that way she will learn to deal with things on her own and you’ll find that you’ll both find other people and will become friends in the end…good luck.
