How To Break Up My Long Term Boyfriend?

I have an 8 years term boyfriend, I wanted to break him up because i caught him with another woman, but I just dont know how. I’m deeply in love with this person but I want to let him go. I don’t know how to start the conversation without even crying infront of him. This is very hard on my part. And I also want him to be hurt after our break.up. Can you suggest any tips on how to do this? Please give me some ideas.

You must be absolutely sure that you’ve “caught him with another woman” cause you “want him to be hurt after our break.up.”.
Well,the worst thing that can happen is to search a person and never ever find her/him,you know that’s alive but you cannot see,touch,hear her/him,not a word nor a letter,even a broken cup,nothing.
If what you want is to give him back the pain you’ve suffered this is the best way.
It’s hard cause perhaps you’ll have to do drastic things like changing home/city/state/country but if you also want to know if he really loved you this is the right way : he will find you everywhere even after years.
BTW
yesterday I’ve found,after 12 years ,the girl who used this method on me,I was searching images into the Web and I’ve found the first track she left around in all this time (she had a part in a movie as a cadaver in the beginning 10 frames).
The pain seeing her was exactly the same as the time had never moved.
And if she had not been married and with 2 sons I could have used the address I’ve found to meet her.
Of course you can just say “Why?” to him and see if he will give you the right answer or instead “About what?”.
In the first case give him a chance,please.
try writing it out before you say it in order to keep from mumbling and trailing. try to keep it short also. 8 years is a long time to be with someone and not be married but since u r breaking up with him its probably a good thing. if you were really in deep love with him you wouldn’t be so childish as to WANT to hurt him when you break up. i could understand that you want him to know the pain you are going through but your reason for breaking up with him shouldn’t be because you wish to hurt his feelings but in order to protect yours. i suggest just ending it quickly: do it somewhere that you can escape quickly afterwards so he can’t bombard you with questions(ex. have a ride waiting outside) get to the point saying/starting with: our relationship isn’t working for me. then explain your plans of action like where your going who you are staying with and when you will be back for your stuff. make sure he knows your being serious about it. the most revenge you should take is the stuff that you can get by being conservative. ex: NOT saying its because he cheated (this will leave him with the ultimate question stuck in his head)

Let him know you know what he’s done!! and don’t let him see that it hurts you to break up with him.. that’ll really hurt him… and then he’ll realize how wrong he’s done.. and ask for forgiveness.. but of coarse because of what he did to you.. you won’t take him back!!!

wow 8 years? thats nuts…i dont think i would be able to do that either….if you think its the right thing to do then you have to do it…be strong….he hurt you so hurt him back by leaving him…its going to take a while to get over it though im sure so i wish you the best of luck with your situation

so u want to break up with him. its easy now cos since u’ve made up ur mind, just stick to it. if u can’t speak to him, then sms or e-mail or write to him. better still do all of the above so tat he knows u mean business. but do it. and to make him hurt, well don’t ever show him tat u’re hurt by his action or for breaking up with him. let him know and show him tat u’re happier now without him, make new frens. sometimes the smallest thing u do will burn him up. trust me it works. i’ve gone thru it b4. when my hero married some1 else and i broke off with him, i lost some weight, straighten my hair and even put a nose stud (but i did it cos i wanted to do it not cos of my ex) and when he saw me, hmm……. i know he’s sori for wat he did. so u brave up and leave tis creep now and make him sori for betraying u with another women
I can’t tell you how to do it! but look! he cheated on you! Tell him how you feel about it! If you love him, tell him you do, but he’s a lier and a cheater!!! He hurted you first by cheating… I think he’s going to hurt less then you did when you break his heart… Crying is fine!!! That’s the first step!!! your pretty brave wanting to break up with him…. if you feel that’s what you want to do! he will understand!

what i suggest that you do is be mature about it… dont do anything dumb… just straight out tell him that it’s over. you are gonna cry anyway. who cares?!?!? let him see you…
