Should I Mail Our Pictures Back To My Ex Boyfriend?

I still am in love with my ex boyfriend and I have sooo many pictures of us. Is it okay if I mail them all back to him? I just can’t deal with having them anymore. It’s too hurtful. He can do with them what he wants…I know I cant have them, dont have enough will power to burn them or throw them out. Plus, I wanna remind him of how much fun we used to have and how much we loved each other.

Don’t. Trust me, as a girl who has had pictures returned to her, it’s rather insulting. The time you and your ex had together is a significant thing. It is now part of your life, and it has, whether or not you realize it, helped form and shape the woman you are now, and the woman you will become. Stash them away, somewhere deep and far away in your things so you won’t be tempted to look at them now, but so in months or years to come, you can go back and look at them, remember how it was together, even if it hurts. Those are YOUR memories, good or bad, and don’t give him the satisfaction of diminishing the good times you had together.
When my older sister went threw a hard break up, she hid everything from herself. She took old pictures and everything that he gave her and threw it in a shoe box. She threw the shoebox in her closet. She never looks at it.

Yeah, go ahead . He could take it the wrong way however, so be careful. Just write him a little note with them and explain to him why you’re sending them to him. He’ll understand if hes not a jerk.
