Can men and women stay faithful in a long-distance relationship?

Is it appropriate for men to have female friends and for women to have male friends? Is it possible for people to be faithful to their partners when they’re lonely and have physical needs? Do people in long-distance relationships cheat on each other because they’re less likely to get caught? Why bother to be in a relationship anyway?

i thinkits possible but probaly not gonna happen somebody is going to cheat i did it for nine months and found out my boyfriend had another girlfriend in the state he was in
it’s deffinatly possible, my friend (who’s older) had a boyfriend who lived in liverpool and she was in London, they didn’t see eachother for years and when they did they had the time of their lives, theyre now engaged…goes to show eh
It is possible. I’ve done it. I lived 7 hours from my girlfriend for one year. It’s tough but we made it work. It comes down to how bad both want it to work. Of course it is appropriate for each to have friends of the opposite sex. I think if the relationship can’t survive some distance for a spell, it probably wouldnt have lasted forever anyway.
