Do I lie on a first date (if it comes up) that I haven’t “officially” broken up with my bf?
My bf & I have broken up way too many times in the past that it seems pointless to keep saying I’m breaking up with you once again–it was a dysfunctional relationship. I’m not in love with him anymore and he knows it. We’ve been in a long distance relationship for years and I figured since he doesn’t even call me anymore then in my mind it’s over. I know it’s cowardly but I hate saying goodbye verbally when I already know it’s over. It’s not like he’s patching things up with me anyway right? Please advise. Thanks!

impretty much in the same boat as you. except i havent asked my crush out on a date and she knows my gf. but i think honesty is the best policy. that and its easier in the long run you can just tell everything like it is and not have to remeber a lie you told 6 months ago
