Im Begging You: Please Answer This Question?
HELP ME! I ONLY HAVE 4 DAYS!?
ok, so i screwed up. Last year me and the guy liked eachother! finally, a unrequited crush! no problem, right? uhmn, no. Me and this guy are both really shy (we’re both cancers lol) so it was obvious no one was going to do anything about it. But my best friend got involved, asked him out for me behind my back, he was excited and said yes. But I was extremely nervous. and i don’t know what compelled me to do this, but i told him it was a joke because I was really scared to go out with him. So I hurt his feelings. And I felt horrible. I hated myself for doing that.
BUT IM GRADUATING IN 4 DAYS!!
And I’ve been talking with him (only a little though), we hang out with toally different groups of friends. But at the prom, (i should mention im in 8th grade-this prom was more of a awards dinner & a dance so parents we there) I had the guts to dance with himj during a slow song (it was a little awkward).. He was dancing with his mom, only I didnt realize so I stole him away from him his mom!!! I cringe when I think about that……
Anyway, I realize how much I like this guy. We’re off to different high schools but I would hate it if I had to ask myself in the future “what if?” I can’t explain it and some answerers might think this is stupid.. but this is more then just a crush. Sure, its not true love or anything that extreme. But still.
I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO. WE HAVE THIS TRIP TOMMOROW TO THE SOUTH STREET SEAPORT. ITS AN 8TH GRADE TRIP TO THIS MALL AND THERE BOAT RIDES AND TONS OF FUN STUFF. BUT I FEEL WEIRD GOING UP TO HIM, ESPECIALLY SINCE I’M NOT REALLY CLOSE WITH HIS FRIENDS (GIRLS AND BOYS- we’re nice to eachother but we have nothing in common). what do i do? please give me some advice. we had our graduation breakfast today but i didn’t go up and talk to him because im really nervous and shy. it took all the guts I had to go up and dance with him. I’m not really sure how he feels about me. I mean, he’s definitly not replused but I don’t know if he likes me anymore. I mean, just this week I apoligized to him for what happened last year and he said its cool…
AHHHH! give me some insight..thanks in advance!

Girl stop thinking so much!! You remind me of me when i was your age! Not that that’s bad, it will just drive you CRAZY!! LOL. Ok, this guy said yes once right? Last year, last week, last night don’t matter the point is you don’t know if he likes you til you ask! He didn’t hold anything against you for telling him it was a joke, so he sounds pretty laid back and unforgiving. I really don’t think you have anything to worry about and like you said you may always wonder what if. So if you can’t say it to his face write him a letter or send you friend again to tell him you were just scared and still do like him. If you get let down, chances are you won;t even run into each other in high school much, depends on how big your school is. But you got a whole summer for the awkwardness to die down. Go for it! You only live once and if her didn’t want to dance with you he would of said “nah, i’m dancing with my mom” or something else. So do it and try not to drive yourself crazy, it doesn’t go away trust me so try n relax! Good luck girl!
Just face him and see what happens, dont act like its a serious matter and act like your friends to start out with. After that YOU can ask him out and not your friend.

Go to him, tell him you don’t want to play games or act childish, and that you really like him. Tell him you are shy, and that it’s hard to say what you are saying. Just face him, and you’ll be surprised by his reaction. He probably really likes you and just doesn’t know how to say anything. He’s probably just as shy as you are. You better give it a chance, otherwise you may miss out on something you could regret for the rest of your life.
What’s the worst that could happen? Honestly, you should just go up and talk to him about things. Ask him out. Something. Anything. Just do it.
Ur going to need to build up a lot more confidence tonight then.If you guys ride on the same bus there sit with him and tell him how you feel since u already know he likes u and go on a boat ride[or2] with him and just chat about normal stuff and in the mall u should like go into a clothing store and try some things on and ask if he likes how they look on you.But u might need about $40 if ur going to do that b/c ur teachers might not let u try it on unless ur buying it.Near the end of the day ask if you want o be gf and bf for real and start fresh.
