Texts To Make Him Hard
Well said and agreed! It’s all about common courtesy and the respect you have for a person. Unless you have a career that requires you to be without your phone, there is no excuse that you can go 24 hours plus without responding back to someone’s text message. The advice given to females is to not act needy, yet then we are given advice that makes excuses for guys not responding…sure, sure it is possible that a guy was just busy when you texted him, but more times than most a man will make time to respond to you. That response can be “hey, I’ll text you later, kinda busy right now,” or a response to continue the conversation but the point is people don’t just put people off that they are interested in, in fear that the person will lose interest in them.

Neediness is crippling to the quality of any relationship (whether it’s a guy or woman acting needy) and it’s something you need to prevent from creeping into your mind at all costs. Needy texts are guaranteed to be ignored by a guy. Personally, I don’t ignore needy texts out of cruelty – I ignore them because it’s an insatiable relationship monster that I don’t ever want to feed (metaphorically speaking).
I did exactly what u said and sent him a sexy pic. He read it and did not respond i waited several days to talk to him then i sent him a message saying hey hows it going and shockingly he responded and then in the middle of the conversation he stopped and he didnt read the message yet now im waiting a day or two for him to open it. Hes on facebook, im not sure what to do? Should i leave him alone? Ask him for an answer? Let me know
I’ve been going out with a guy for about three months now. He always tells me he really likes me, he’s very jealous and buys me flowers everytime he sees me. However, he has a tendency to “disappear”. By this I mean he will switch off his phone and go a whole day without talking to me and then say he was a bit busy. Recently he’s started to ignore my messages too .. What does this mean ?? What should I do ??
* Why should I ever settle down? Rich men have a larger selection of women thanks to women being more accepting of rich men. You will see 4s go out with 8s all the time and nobody ever bats an eye because it’s so common in places such as New York City and San Francisco. Given a rich man’s mental conditioning, he will logically assume he is more handsome, more charismatic, and funnier than he really is. It really doesn’t matter if he’s not because he continues to get outsized attention from the ladies.
It can be hard trying to wrap up a conversation, but the first step is being able to realize when the convo is fizzling out. If he’s starting to send one-word answers or is taking way too long to text back, then it’s probably time to call it quits. Make a graceful exit with a little bit more than just a. “see you later” or, “talk to you soon” text that still somehow leaves him wanting more. Try to conclude it with the possibility of making future plans.
I humbly offer a different perspective. At 65, I am at a different age spectrum of many of your commenters. I have an FI that meets my needs now and heading into the future. A few years ago I suddenly lost my beloved husband of nearly 30 years. The struggle and searching journey proceeding from that massive loss has transformed much of my worldview. Chris and I shared an epic love. We started out with very little but a shared passionate attachment. But we held similar ethical standards, a commitment to hard work, the willingness to work in therapy when we derailed, love of parenting and so much more. We embraced joy and general silliness whenever possible. We put our love first…always.
Want Him To Want Me
What I particularly like here is Nora's relationship with her father. Nothing really hit me in here other than this. I really love how she stresses her dislike for her father - why he left them for his career, her love for chess. The conclusion for his side of the story basically made me go 'aww'. The time in which Nora is finally opening up to her father again, is of course the best part of the novel. Nothing cheesy about it. Just a father and a daughter, playing chess and getting closer to each other all over again. It's a really wonderful thing.
I like that this post gets it out of the way. Love and all that other stuff is good and all that for DATING, but for marriage? Money now enters the picture when it didn’t matter so much before. Especially if the woman wants kids. I think a lot of you guys are completely forgetting that fact. Only women can have kids, so if a woman wants to be rich (or at least have enough money to never worry about money again) and have kids (and actually be there for them), what is she meant to do?

#8 Leave out the word “just.” I know, it’s a small word, I mean, what could possibly go wrong with this word. The word ‘just’ is fine. However, it actually gives your sentence low-value. Specifically, when you talk about yourself. For example, “I’m at the beach” and “I’m just at the beach.” Do you see how the word ‘just’ makes your activity look insignificant?
my crush and I got to school together and we've dated off and on for the last 2 years and I dot know how he feels , like we'll hold hands but he always gives mixed signals , he knows how I feel but he also has multiple other people chasing him (more than half of them my backstabbing friends) and I don't want to betray my friends but they knew how I felt as well , I just don't know what to do
Consider all the possible outcomes of dating your flatmate. If your dating relationship doesn’t work out, do you think you both could still continue being flatmates? Would living together be too much of a strain on a new dating relationship? If the age difference has you worried, consider how much age will truly impact your dating. Also consider how compatible you are together, your temperament, values, interests, and priorities. If these all seem to be a close match, then age shouldn’t matter so much.
Follow the Golden Rule. That means apply the same rules to yourself that you'd apply to others, including him. Real men do in fact notice this; they just don't scream it out. For example, if he tells you he has a girlfriend and things are not working out, Stop! and think ladies and gentlemen that this could be a "test" on how you would handle the situation, so stand your ground and cut off communication (hint: "Golden Rule"). Don't go on about how you "don't NEED no man!" or about "men this, men that" if you don't want him treating you the same way. DO, on the other hand, treat him--and others--with respect, dignity, and honor. Others will notice, too, and who knows--if they know you want a good, real man but don't yet have one, they just might introduce you to one!
"This area is one of the most underrated erogenous zones. "The knees are full of nerve endings; that's why people are often ticklish there," says St. Claire. The backs of the knees are especially sensitive, since the nerves are close to the surface, she adds. For maximum sensual impact, swivel your tongue along the crease and then blow on the area. This puff of air will cause the moisture to evaporate, producing a thrilling hot-then-cold sensation. Plus, he'll be able to actually feel you breathing, which will tune his body in to yours and give your intimacy a surcharge.
You just haven't met the right person yet! When you meet someone who makes you light up, you'll know. Until then, there's no point in stressing out. You might be a little shy around strangers, but it’s worth making an effort to meet new people (and get to know the people you already know a little bit better). Don't worry if it takes a little time. The best things in life are worth waiting for!

What each of these examples does is a) lets him know you’re thinking about him and b) give him something to respond to. The entire point of texting is to engage in conversation, so keep your goal in mind. Are you looking to make plans with him for tonight? Just catch up on your day? Have a more heartfelt conversation? Keep that goal in mind when you initiate a conversation.
What it means is that the more money you make the more you are taxed. The more the government finds ways to take it away from you. In order to live legally, you must pay this embezzlement from the US government. and there is a certain point where your income is the same as someone making 1/2 the amount as you and being taxed less. Which really isn’t fair!! But even through this embezzlement, you can still make and save a million if you are committed to it. There comes a curtain point where you can surpass this 1/2 point and begin to gain, again once you actually can save past it. but it is a tough plateau. Once you save past the plateau it gets easier to save.
First off I want to say thanks for your honest and refreshing post. It's rare and a wonderful thing for a guy to admit the challenges men face and try to act opposite of the gender stereotypes. I'm so sorry about your breakup and hope you find happiness and love. Please stay warm and loving and expressive. The right woman will appreciate it. I personally am the type who loves emotional expression in men.![]()
Guys aren’t the best at expressing their feelings. So when a guy isn’t texting back consistently, he’s trying to give you a clue. Sure, it would be nice if he had a little more respect for you and just told you openly that he’s not that into you, but alas, that seems to be asking too much. So a lot of guys do what they do best — avoid the problem and hope it will eventually go away when you get the hint.
This isn’t a staring contest. In fact, according to research, looking away and then briefly glancing back a few times is another signal that lets a guy know you want him to approach. (Ashley Fox explains the process really well here.) You don’t have to overthink it or be weird about it. When you see a cute guy and wish he would come say hi, make eye contact with him, smile, look back at the person you were talking to, and then glance back at him. Repeat one or two times. If you are worried it will be creepy, don’t. When we interviewed guys on how they know a woman likes them, Charles said, “Things like [when] eye contact is made and then avoided and then made again.”
Lead by example to help him improve. Don’t criticize him harshly when he does something bad or wrong. This will make him feel horrible and he will begin to feel bad when he is around you. Instead, if he does something you don’t like, lead by example to show him a better way to be. You can certainly tell him when you don’t like something he does, but don’t be mean or controlling about it and help him find a good way to change.

So, I’m Asian, just wanna point that out there xD Him and I used to be in the same school in Singapore, but now, because of something that happened with my parents, they had to move back to the Philippines along with me. We are both Filipinos btw. We were just friends, but kinda close friends. It’s been more than 6 months since I saw him. A few friends of mine messaged me and said he liked me to but I didn’t believe them. Then they messaged him to prove themselves right, but he denied every word of it. I thought I was over him so I messaged him to apologize if he misunderstood the situation or felt uncomfortable. But it’s been almost 2 months (I think) and he hasn’t replied back. He has read it though. Please, I need your help. I just realized, I still haven’t moved on.
So, I've been talking to this guy for a couple of weeks. we have known eachother for awhile though but never talked to each other till recently. He was dating this girl for 2 years and they broke up 6 months ago , he messgaed me on instagram asking if i wanted to hangout sometime so i gave him my number! well we started texting for awhile but he isn't very consistent with texting and when we finally hung out i brought up how i always tect him for and he leaves me on read but then reply's to what i said couple days later. his reason was with school and work he has to work off his phone and my messages get pushed back and he would forget to reply, when he realized he forgot he had said it was too late to respond so i wouldnt bother. the next week he didnt talk much saying he had been, which i new he would be with what he had going on and moving out of his apartment that week. well he was active on snapchat at some concert so i thought i text him again and he never replied but still active on social media. i don't know if i shouldn't worry about it and text him again or just forget about it, maybe he isn't interested. i need help everyone i ask doesn't carer they just tell me i don't know. and i really need help figuring out what should i do.
